BOMBERS MOON - (VERY RARE REMARQUE)

Bombers Moon is one of the most sought after Lancaster prints by Robert Taylor and is now very difficult to source in any condition.

This rare print depicts RAF Bomber Command "Pathfinder Force" Avro Lancaster bombers crewing up on a Lincolnshire airfield during the winter of 1944, in preperation for another dangerous mission over Germany.

This is one of only three ever produced.

Originally thIs example was held in the personal collection of the artist, Robert Taylor, before being released to a private collector many years ago.

We have been very fortunate in being able to aquire such a rare, collectable peice of aviation fine art and for a limited period can offer this at a special discounted price.

The Remarque

Drawn by Robert Taylor, in 1985, this superb remarque is an impressive depiction of a Lancaster "bombing up" on the ground. In recent years, the size of this remarque would equate to a "double remarque".

To further authenticate this outstanding, rare collectors piece, the print is accompanied by a hand written letter, dated and signed by Robert Taylor.

For a print produced in 1985, it is in superb condition. The actual image has no fading and the print itself has no damage to the edges or corners. It has never been framed.
