50TH ANNIVERSARY GERMAN 'V' WEAPONS (Rare Benham cover)

A rare, collectable 50th Anniversary Cover produced by Benham Covers.

On the 13th June, 1944 the Germans fired the inital salvo of 10 V-1 flying bombs against London. Only 4 bombs were successful in crossing the channel. By the end of June 1944, more than 2000 V1's had been launched against England.

The limited edition cover has actual gold leaf inlay inset into the actual cover design.
