DAMBUSTERS (Rare secondary market print)

This superb early edition print is still one of Robert Taylor's finest pieces and is highly sought after in the secondary marketplace.

Regarded as one of the best paintings depicting the famous Dambusters Raid.

The print has been personally signed in pencil by the highly distinguished RAF veteran and survivor of the Dambuster Raid;

IMPORTANT NOTES:

This print has been previously framed and shows signs of minor damage to the corners where taped down to the backing mount within the frame. Discolouration is also present where the edges of the print met with the frame. No over-mount was used. The main image is in good condition and has not faded or creased but there are signs of the early stages of "foxing" spots on the paper, especially wihin the outer white border area. This is mainly due to the age of the paper and also sadly due to the original framing.

Although not a mint condition item, it is still a great bargain for a classic Robert Taylor image and the signature of one of the RAF's most celebrated, historical figures.
