Originally produced for a set of 20 covers, these outstanding limited edition Commemorative covers are signed by a Battle of Britain pilot or VC awardee. They have a different theme and various postmarks including rare RAF Coltishall, Biggin Hill and Hawkinge.

This Limited Edition cover is titled "The Major Assault - 1st to 8th August 1940".

It has been personally signed by highly distinguished Battle of Britain pilot;

Group Captain F. R. Carey CBE, DFC, AFC, DFM

He flew Hurricanes during the Battle of Britain with RAF 43 Squadron and was based at Tangmere Airfield, Sussex and then at Kenley Airfield, Kent.
