This wonderful drawing captures in great detail the day-to-day activity commonly found on airfields, in jungle clearings and mountain valleys, throughout South East Asia between 1942 to 1945.

The Dakota DC-3 became the workhorse throughout the Burma campaign and without it many of the RAF Fighter Squadrons would have suffered the loss of badly needed supplies due to the non-existent road networks and monsoon rains.

Each Special Publisher Proof Edition print has been signed and numbered by the artist along with the following Burma aircrew veterans including the signatures of two Battle of Britain pilots who served operationally in the Far East during the campaign:
