Originally produced for a set of 20 covers, these outstanding limited edition Commemorative covers are signed by a Battle of Britain pilot or VC awardee. They have a different theme and various postmarks including rare RAF Coltishall, Biggin Hill and Hawkinge.

This Limited Edition cover is titled "The Major Assault - 16th to 17th August 1940".

Wing Comander R. F. T. Doe DSO, DFC

He flew Spitfires with RAF 234 Squadron & Hurricanes with RAF 238 Squadron during the Battle of Britain.
