Liberation of Burma 50th Annv- signed by 4 Battle of Britain pilots

Special limited edition cover produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Burma, 2nd August 1945. Only 6 were ever produced. Date stamped 2nd August 1995 and was flown from RAF Brize Norton to Brunei and back in an RAF VC10 of 10 Squadron. The cover is personally signed by four highly distinguished RAF Battle of Britain pilots, all of whom flew operationally in the South East Asia campaign; Wing Commander David Cox DFC & Bar, Croix de Guerre (flew Spitfires in Battle of Britain with 19 Sq and then No: 909 Wing in Asia) Wing Commander Jack Rose CMG, MBE, DFC (flew Hurricanes in Battle of Britain with 32 Squadron and then 113 Squadron in Asia) Wing Commander Byron Duckenfield DFC (flew Hurricanes in Battle of Britain with 501 Squadron and then 615 Squadron in Asia) Squadron Leader Doug Nicholls DFC (flew Hurricanes in Battle of Britain with 151 Squadron and then 258 Squadron in Asia) LAST ONE of these rare, collectable signed editions.
