A rare limited edition book and print portfolio by Nicolas Trudgian. This is the Clash of Eagles Artist Proof Edition with seven prints. Released in 2008 this was the third book that showcased the work of leading aviation artist Nicolas Trudgian - this volume dedicated to his superb drawings. The opening section is an introduction by the artist. The majority of the volume consists of reproductions of his fine pencil drawings. Forewords are by Squadron Leader Tony Iveson DFC, AE , CRAeS and Major Alden Rigby Silver Star, Air Medal, DUC. Overall the book has a very high quality feel with the pencil sketches reproduced with great clarity. Specially published to accompany the book are seven matching numbered mini-sized limited edition prints featuring famous aircraft from WW2.
