We have located from the archive a rare edition bookplate. A Special edition bookplate, originally produced in 2008 to accompany the release of a revised edition of the history of the legendary de Havilland Mosquito. Only 20 of these bookplates were produced on 180gsm card and are ideal for adding into an appropriate book or for collectors wishing to add to an existing signature collection. Each bookplate was personally signed by the following RAF aircrew veterans, who flew operational missions in the Mosquito during World War Two: Air Commodore John Ellacombe, CBE, DFC* (Pilot with 151 Sq in Battle of Britain then later Mosquito's with 487 Sq) Flight Lieutenant Bertie Boulter, DFC (Pilot with 128 & 163 Sq's) Flight Lieutenant Terry Clark, DFM (Navigator with 219 in Battle of Britain then later in Mosquito's with 488 Sq) Squadron Leader Tom Bennett DFM (Observer & Navigator with 617 Sq) Warrant Officer Dick Maywood (Navigator with 608 & 692 Sq's) Squadron Leader Ian Linney (Pilot with 107 Squadron) Wing Commander Peter Channer DSO, DFC (Pilot with 105 "Pathfinder" Squadron) Produced: 2008 Restricted Edition: 20 Approx size: 285mm x 210mm NOTE: There is only ONE of these rare, collectable bookplates left and is suitable for a larger format book.
